This is a ding - dong doll / chime rolly-polly doll from the Kalinin region of the USSR (Tviorskaia). The contour lines are poker-worked and then is painted with tempera . It is very difficult to find this kind of dolls from that period. The condition of the doll is not very good. However, there are some erased spots of the painting .The size of the doll is about 5''.
