Hard to find USSR Brest "Black Lacquer Maidens" is 5 1/2" tall and contains 7 dolls, They have pointed heads, blue eyes, and scarves alternating red and green extending way down their backs with a large black flower. Their dresses also alternate red and green, with black aprons decorated with beautiful tiger lilies. This set of maidens is highly desired among collectors and can be seen in the Lefkovitz Collector's Guide to Nesting Dolls on pg. 30.
