Moldavia:
Moldavia is located East of Rumania and South of the Ukraine. These sets depict only men, usually St. Nick. All of the men carry baskets or pouches on their backs filled with red or orange hearts.
Traditional Moldavia St. Nick doll. Alternating colors orange, green and blue. Each bearded man has a yellow backpack filled with hearts. The largest doll is stamped Made in USSR.
