This unusual brown doll is a Needle Holder doll. The base of this doll is very tight but pulls out to reveal a little container that once contained a foam pin cushion.
The body of this doll is a medium brown stained wood grain and the doll is painted with red flowers and green vines around the bottom of her dress and her scarf. The face and hair of this doll is very nicely painted, but chipped somewhat.
