This lovely doll is from the Ukraine in Russia. She is called a Bullet Maiden because of her shape. Each doll is dressed in traditional clothing and the largest doll carries a bouquet of flowers. There is a common problem with the dolls from the Ukraine, the yellow and green paint ALWAYS chip. Usually only on one or two dolls in a set and quite often the smaller dolls. Sometimes it's the yellow center of the flowers or the geometric design in green. This set is in excellent condition with two VERY minor chips. The largest doll measures 9 inches tall.
