This is a mother of pearl inlaid egg that measures 3 1/2 inches long and is in very good condition. The natural colored egg is from the Ukrainian region of the former USSR. It is featured in the Lefkovitz Collector’s Guide where it is listed as valued at $35-40 (a very high price compared to other items in the 1989 book).
