This set of dolls from Kazakhstan features a Mongolian family dressed in colorful silk robes, scarves and hats. They are painted in blue, green and orange tones. The robes are very ornately decorated with gold rope, fringe and tassels and detailed patterns.
The dolls have somber Mongolian or Asian faces, the men with long curled Fu Man Chu style mustaches and the woman with freckles painted on her cheeks.
