This interesting lot of solid Russian folk dolls are probably from the Southern region of Russia near Kazakhstan. These dolls are wear decorative silk robes and most have Asian features characteristic of people in this region.
One couple is 2.5” – the man wears a Russian hat and the woman a pointed hat under her robes. Dolls are dated 1993 and 1994 ПЧЕЛКИНА ТГ (Pchelkin, Rostovskaya)
