This vintage Nesting Doll depicts an Eastern European woman (possibly Czech). The finish is shiny lacquer. Inside, she has four hand-painted children/daughters. She is 5" tall, and her girls are 2" tall.
After receiving this set, it became obvious that the dolls inside are not part of the original set. They appear to be added later and colored with felt pens.
