photo126.jpg

This is an after dinner drinking game originating in 16th Century Japan. The cups are filled with beverages. Each guest rolls the die and must do a task listed to the satisfaction of the other guests, or else take the corresponding drink. Play continues until all drinks are taken. Dried fruit or nuts may be substituted for drinks. The tasks on the dice represent:

1. Offer an interesting FACT to the guests

2. Pose a RIDDLE to the guests (and stump them)

3. Tell a JOKE that makes all the guests laugh

4. PANTOMIME a famous saying

5. Make up a POEM (traditionally a Haiku) or LIMERICK

6. Musical Note. Sing a SONG
