Extremely rare, vintage set of nesting "dogs" from Japan. The set is 1 3/4" tall, and contains 4 dolls. Although dog #2 has a small crack, this set is still in very good condition. It is quite hard to find and I believe it's quite old. This same set is photographed and described in the Lefkovitz Collector's Guide to Nesting Dolls on pg. 106.
This set is very rare and despite its simple design has sold for $75 to $100 or more on eBay when it is listed.
