Vintage nesting doll by Shackman of N.Y. has paper label on bottom of base dating it 1958, Made in Japan. Paint appears to be intact and colors still vivid. There is only paint wear to protruding nose of outer doll. Breaks down into four dolls, unfortunately the base is missing from one.
These dolls are very similar in style to Polish set.
