These Polish are the newest style for 2008 wearing a different traditional Polish costume. This time from the “Cieszyn” region of Poland. The wear white dresses with brown laced vests with orange embroidery on the back.

They were purchased in Warsaw at a Cepelia shop, a chain of stores that sell traditional Polish handicrafts and souvenirs.

This type of Polish doll is made in a factory in Ustron, Poland. Earlier motifs of this doll wear traditional costumes from Lowidz (black vests). The earliest type “Zakopane” dolls actually wear a striped dress from Krakow, Poland.
