This set of three wooden clowns is 7" tall, possibly from China. The dolls are unique in shape and in the way wooden pieces have been added to make the clowns 3-dimensional (hats, arms, buttons, etc.) They are painted in bright cheerful patterns with comical expressions. The largest doll has 2 hairline cracks (about 1" long) in the top half. However, these are around back, don't show, and don't affect the fit of the top and bottom. The second doll has a paint chip off his top (green) button. Otherwise, there is no paint flaking, the lacquer is shiny and intact.
