Extremely rare set of nesting dolls from Zakopane Poland pictured in the Collectors Guide on page 70. They are small, the tallest measuring only around 2" and very round. Her bottom is left unpainted and unvarnished giving her an endearing primitive look. The dolls are unique in that all three dolls share a common bottom.
These dolls are in good condition for their age. The largest doll has a couple of scuffs or dents and a split on her back. In March, 2004 a similar set sold on eBay for $180.
