Stunning, side-glancing fairy tale doll is of an Art Quality, dated 1994 and signed. Adorned in transparent stains, solid paint and ink, with metallic gold and silver accent throughout the pieces. Fine details can be found on the Kokochnik (headpiece). Facial features, hair and in the ink drawings on the belly of each doll.
Each has a gold framed story picture; Silver and gold headpiece; The doll was similar to those painted by artist Russian Karelina whose dolls sell by Golden Cockerel for over $800. [The scenes on the doll are very risqué – something not mentioned by the seller.]
