Characters from the traditional Russian cartoon Cheburashka (the name means Topple or Tumble in English). He is bear like creature with large ears that came from an unknnown tropical island packed in a crate of oranges. This was a Russian children’s book written in 1965, and first made into a cartoon in 1969. Other characters are Gena the Crocodile, a Dog, and the Old Lady (Shapoklyak) and her Rat (Lariska).
