This unusual doll is painted as if it were made of the famous Russian Gzhel porcelain. The doll is a creamy off-white with intricate blue patterns. The face and hair on the dolls themselves are also blue. Blue Gzhel is not an uncommon matryoshka design, but the blue face is a very unique design.
