photo94.jpg

This is a vintage set of Russian nesting dolls commemorates the Pittsburgh Pirates in their various uniforms over the years. They are from the Cooperstown Collection.

After the fall of the USSR, Cooperstown was one of the first companies to commission and put their logo on a Russian made nesting doll. They only sold these dolls for a short time in 1992 and originally sold from $75-$150.

There is at least one more doll than that shown in the picture. The largest measures about 7 1/2 inches tall. Condition is very good. Some paint scuffing where the dolls have rubbed against each other.
