This nesting doll cup is decorated in Polkhov Maidan style with pink poppies and fingerprint swirl designs. The red haired doll has rosy cheeks and a cherub mouth. The highly flared mouth of the cup makes this an unusual twist compared to the rounded head of an actual nesting doll.
The cup is not Russian but was actually made in Poland and found in Katowice, Poland. It is the first time that they had seen something "Russian" made in Poland, as even there nesting dolls are getting less popular.
