These older USSR dolls are in nice, vintage condition. The black haired maidens are painted with yellow scarves and red dresses with large pink and green flowers.
The dolls have a large label on the bottom marked: “Темниковский район” which translates to Temnikovsky district, Mordovia (City of Temnikov). The Temnikovsky area located northwest of the Republic of Mordovia, borders on Nizhny Novgorod and Ryazan-skoy areas.
