This vintage Russian Doll is made in USSR . Judging from the style of painting, costume and facial features of this doll, it may have been made in one of the southern regions characterizing it as Druzba / Drujba / or Uzbek. The doll is also interesting because of the size - 1 3/4" tall. The doll is one solid piece - this is very typical for the first Russian Matrioshkas. There is an purple stamp on the bottom of the doll. “1.0-70”
