This is a hard to find and very unusual set of maidens from a southern region of the USSR known as Druzba. All three maidens are solid, and they range in size from 3" down to 1 1/4". They are painted with the prettiest colors and designs of any Russian dolls, and each is slightly different from the others. They have a definite Moslem/Turkish/Oriental influence as far as their costumes, and facial features. This set is in excellent condition.
