This doll is made in only one piece and this is very typical for the first Russian Matrioshkas dolls (not nesting). The Russian girl is brightly painted, is constructed from several interesting pieces of wood, and stands about 4.5 " tall. She has a very thoughtful look on her face and looks like she is waiting for something.
