This set was made in China for Authentic Models of Holland, and is one of the Fairy Tale collection. Inside the largest doll is clipping from the catalog which originally sold this set for $19.50.
The clipping says: Cheshire cat and friends inside Alice in Wonderland Nesting dolls. Ideal for relating the adventurous tale, for enclosing trinkets & treats. Five become one when nesting inside each other.
