This set was made in China for Authentic Models of Holland, and is one of the Fairy Tale collection. Inside the largest doll is clipping from the catalog which originally sold this set for $19.50.
The clipping says: Puss in Boots Nesting Dolls. A real cleaver cat, he married the King’s daughter and he became a great lord. Five become one when nesting inside each other. Educational as well as decorative when you relate the tale.
